Dr Abdul Bari (RA) said about Ali Sikandar Jigar Muradabadi that he has a good heart but bad liver. There is a pun here. Jigar means liver in Urdu. He was addicted to alcohol. But he repented and left this world in that state.
Once friends impelled him to drink and he did ended up drinking. When he came to his senses then he started crying. He cried with heavy sobs.
