A Shaikh came to the house of a person who had fallen to drinking. When the Shaikh came to know about this he was surprised. He turned to this person and asked as to which type of liquor he was consuming. The Shaikh said that I too will drink with you. Two goblets were prepared. The Shaikh said that you start first. The person picked up the goblet. The Shaikh smiled but this person put the goblet back. The Shaikh asked him to drink again. This person did the same thing. He picked up the goblet and put it back. The shaikh asked him again to drink. This time again this person tried to drink but instead he crashed the goblet on the floor. He said that he will never drink again.
When people asked him as t how he felt at that time he said that every time he picked up the goblet he saw piglets swimming in the alcohol. (The injunction of the Doctrine (shariat) is the same for wine as for pork.)
This should be counted as a charisma of the Shaikh.
