Today this interest is disappearing but earlier it used to be the case that after Prayers people will sit in the Mosque for listening to an exegesis (tafseer) of the Holy Qur'an. Today whole night can be spent in listening to poetic meets (musha-ira) or qawwalies or music but there is no turning towards exegesis.
