Singapore to Aligarh via Bangalore
There is a modern upwardly mobile man waiting out side Anona House Mosque, the Mosque that you sea as the masthead of the present blog, after Asr Prayers. It was a few years back. The man is from Singapore and came to Bangalore for some work and then to Aligarh for spiritual consultations. A thought may come to mind, even if fleetingly, that his emotional turmoil must be significant enough to bring him from South India to North. This is, of course, plain silly. The point to note is that this must be a man of rather high stature, near Lord Almighty, for he took that long journey to do spiritual consultations. After the sitting (majlis) he got just a few minutes with Hazrat Shaikh (DB) in privacy. Spending so much money and time for so brief a consultation, what kind of man that can be? A couple of things can be concluded. The person values People of Allah. The person fears Lord Most High. These are quite significant things. May Lord Almighty, as blessing of the company of such people, instill these things in the hardened hearts of we dirty people too.
