Professor Abdul Wasay Usmani

Professor Abdul Wasay Usmani has retired a few years back from the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Aligarh Muslim University. Even after retirement he has served in various private engineering colleges in Greater Noida, Aligarh, Meerut and Bhopal. Sometimes even as a Principal. Overflowing with love for juniors he is also particular about proper recitation of Arabic both in Prayer Call as well as Prayer. He is very regular in sittings (majalis). He'll practice his proper recitation of he Holy Qura'n even during driving and rushes to the Maktab (school, madarsa) of Qari Ilyas Sahab (DB) at the first moment of free time. For a senior man like him Murshidy and Maulayi Hazrat and Aala Shaikh (DB) is Dear Brother (Bhai Sahab). May Allah almighty provide us the blessings of them both for a long time to come.
