From Attuck to Cuttack

Sher Shah Suri is a mighty king in the world history. Awesome as a commander, administrator and a character. Inserted his significant five years in the middle of awesome Mughal dynasty. Issued the first Rupee. Established the postal system. Built the four main roads of the Indian subcontinent and beyond. And much more. Two of these roads, From Peshawar to Delhi and Delhi to Dhaka, have a name for long. That is the G.T. road, Grand Trunk Road. For the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, that is, U.P., the state where Anona House is located in Aligarh, GT road is the life line. In fact in these parts of UP the main road of the city is called GT road. So you have GT road in Meerut and Hapur, and Khatauli. This is the local convention. Another convention or more appropriately the folklore is that GT Road extends from Attuck to Cuttack.

Then there are the kings of different kind. Kings who rule the heart.

Some times with eyes of your imagination,
Have a look at the Rulers of Heart,
And admire their serenity.

(Kabhi chashm-e-tasawwur se,
Dilon ke hukmraN dekho,
Aur unka itminaN dekho.)

One of them was Muhi-us-Sunnah Shah Abrar-ul-Haq Haqqi, may Lord fill his tomb with Light. He too ruled from Attuck to Cuttack. While traveling, by train, from Delhi to Kolkata you branch out Southward in the state of Bihar, to the State of Orissa. That is Utkal. That is Kalinga. You reach Cuttack via Kharagpur and Balasore. Beyond Cuttack is Bhubaneswar, just twenty five kilometers more. There you'll find the light of the lamps lit by the benefits of the Company of Abrar (RA) (Faiz-sohbat-e-Abraria).

Literary work of Muhi-us-Sunnah (NM) is mostly in the form of booklets, more often pamphlets. Minions like us many times feel that it will be nice to have them collected in at a place in a book. Brothers from this area are perhaps among the first ones who have done that. An associate of Hazrat Shakih (DB) Janab Rizwanullah Sahab of Madarsa Miftah-ul-Uloom, Khatban Sahi, Cuttack compiled the relevant information and requested for a supplicatory forward and title. The title given by Hazrat Shaikh (DB) is Upbringing of the Seeker, Invocations According to Sunnah (Tarbiat-ut-Talib, Azkar-e-Masnoonah). There are forwards by Hazrat Shaikh (DB), Qari Amir Hasan Sahab (DB) and Mufti Shabbir Ahmed Sahab. Also available at Madarsa Faiz-e-Abrar-o-Majlis-e-Dawat-ul-Haq, Gajar Pur and Madarsa Jamia-ul-Uloom, Bhubaneswar.
