Women are a bit hesitant in matters of Charity (zakat). A woman told her husband that how can I pay Charity on my ornaments, I have no money. "Sell some of it", the husband said. On 28th of Ramadan Muhi-us-Sunnah would ask for weighing of all the ornaments. Not a ring will be spared.
