Little bit of information has been added to the frequently asked questions (FAQ) page of the blog. (Click on that to refresh your memory about the subject matter of the present blog.) One of the added things is that Hazrat Shaikh (DB) has, till now, given permission to about three dozen people to take up correctional responsibilities. Muslim Generation is huge and spread far and wide. The supply of Masha-ikh is much less than the requirement of the Generation, if we may use an economics terminology.
The strangeness in proportion is the fact that three of the caliphs of Hazrat Shaikh (DB) are much senior to Hazrat Shaikh (DB) himself.
(1) Hazrat Maulana Basharat Ali Sahab Sultanpuri (RA), former Deputy Nazim Madarasa Ashraful Madaaris and Majlis-e-Dawatul Haq, Hardoi. He has already left this perishable world. Those who have seen the list of caliphs of Shah Hardoi (RA) will remember that this name occurs even before the name of Hazrat Shaikh (DB)!
(2) Hazrat Qari Amir Hasan Sahab (DB). Allahu Akbar! Strange are indeed the ways of our Lord Almighty! And there are Signs of Allah scattered all around us.
(3) Maulvi Abdul Haq Azmi, Muhaddis (DB), Darul Uloom, Deoband. Those who know him will confirm that Maulana is a very senior muhaddis.
Two other caliphs have already found there mention on Thus Spake Hazrat Shaikh. They are Mufti Shabbir Ahmed Qasmi (DB) and Maulana Shuaib Ahmed Bastawi (RA).
