When the Imam has risen to the podium for Friday Sermon then it is not right to continue with our (silent) recitation of the Holy Qura'n or performing of Sunnah Prayers. It is usually seen that Imam has started the sermon and people are busy finishing their Sunnah Prayers or recitation.
