Let us begin pedantically. A blog is a diary that is kept on the web, that is, internet, usually for many people to see. There are many blog service providers. Blogger of Google is one. Present blog is thankful to them for hosting Thus Spake Hazrat Shaikh. WordPress is another service provider. Movable Type is yet another blogging service provider. And there are many more.
In previous paragraphs we have given links to some of the sites that we have mentioned. In blogging software there is a facility called the pingback or trackback. If one blog gives a link for a post in another blog then the latter blog automatically gets a link to the former. This link appears in the comment section of the post on the latter blog.
On this blog we shall not get the pingbacks or trackbacks because we are not operating the comment facility.
