There was a Nawab who was addicted to alcohol. An Elder was called to his place. He explained the benefits of alcohol for one whole night. Next night he explained the harms of alcohol the whole night. The Nawab was so much affected that he immediately gave up drinking. This lead to severe health problems for him but he said that if I have left it then I have left it. Later on when he was in the state before death and having a difficult time a messenger was sent to the Shaikh for supplications. The Shaikh received the letter while he was with the disciples. He'll look at the letter and put it back. This he did several times. Finally he said that I supplicate and told the messenger to rush back to convey the news. This finally lead to easing of the state for the Nobleman.
