Subtle Variations in Victory and Defeat

If there is Reliance on Allah(SWT) and Fear of Allah(SWT) then Allah(SWT) will give complete victory. That is what happened in Badr but there was slight lack of patience in Uhud so it lead to defeat. Similarly there came some vanity because of numbers in case of Hunain and this too lead to a defeat.

Tricky Relaxation

When Allah(SWT) wants He can give relaxation for years but when His grip comes in effect then no one can save the person. Think of Qaddhafi. He ruled for decades but when the end came it came filled with lessons. The country is there, so is the gold but he is gone. Today we ready to give our life for the lands but not for the Truth.

Khalid Bin Walid (RA)

As soon as Hazrat Khalid Bin Walid got the letter that he is no more the Commander-in-Chief he immediately got off the horse and said that yesterday I was a soldier and so am I today. If this kind of order was served today it will lead to a revolt in the Army.
