A Tyrant and His End
There was an atrocious man. His atrocities reached this level that he got his own brother-in-law embedded alive in a wall. His end too was miserable. He was sitting on the railway station in a wretched state. Some one asked as to what is is he waiting for. He said that that he has no conveyance to take him home.

Superiority of Human Race
There is no measure of this Grace of Lord Most High that the sons of Adam have been made the best of the creatures. (But our behaviour does not reflect that.) Even in big institutions you find that people are creating problems for others. Will you never grow old yourself? People indulge in atrocities out of the energy flowing out of youth and young age.

Munificence and Affability
Munificence (Sakhawat) and Affability (Murawwat) is the new topic started by Hazrat Shaikh Hakim Muhammed Kalimullah Sahab (DB). As usual the conversation will flow in various directions beginning with these two desirable qualities.
***
adjective
1.
extremely liberal in giving; very generous.
2.
characterized by great generosity: a munificent bequest.
Affable
adjective
1.
pleasantly easy to approach and to talk to; friendly; cordial; warmly polite: an affable and courteous gentleman.
2.
showing warmth and friendliness; benign; pleasant: an affable smile.
Unfortunately the latter word does not serve the purpose required by original Urdu word Murawwat but for the time being we shall compromise on it.

Nawab Ishrat Ali Khan Qaisar (RA)
Yesterday Sunni Forum had reported about the passing away of Nawab Ishrat Ali Khan Sahab Qaisar. The funeral prayer was lead by Mufti Rafi Usmani Sahab (DB) and Nawab Sahab (RA) was laid to rest in the Dar-ul-Uloom cemetery in Karachi. Hazrat Shaikh (DB) was remembering him fondly after the Sitting (Majlis) today. One more significant, a reminder of Thanwi (RA) era, has gone by. Verily we are for our Lord and unto him is our return. (See also.)
