Calmness and Tranquility

Sitting (Majlis) time on Friday, December 30, 2011.
Tranquility just before the Sitting begins.
The tranquility that can be experienced only before the Sitting and only here.
Also some times the environment becomes very silent after the tea time.
This silence is very soothing and very rare too.
Never experienced before coming to the Sittings.
Nor seen at any other place too.
And all thanks are due to Allah Most High for such precious blessings.
May He continue these blessings at all those places where He is has already given them.
Accept O Lord merely by your unbound Mercy.

They Remember Excessively

(We) got this news that there is a person in Delhi who recites Darood Sharif two thousand times daily. There is a person in Madras (Chennai) whose routine is much more than this.

Prefering Non-Islamic Things

When there is an open permission from the university to wear Islamic dress but some chooses to wear other dresses then it only shows that this person prefers the attire of other people. (Qari Ilyas Sahab (DB))

(Sitting (Majlis) on Thursday, December 22, 2011)

Prophet (PBUH)'s Salam

 (Qari Amir Hasan Sahab (DB))
When beloved Prophet (PBUH) reached home in the night he'd present his Salam with such a voice that the people who were awake would answer it while the sleeping people will not be disturbed. (This is how he(PBUH) delivered the rights of the people in the family.) Hazrat Abdul Haq Muhaddis Dehlawi (RA) said that this much of love of the family members is necessary so that it induces you to deliver their rights. By presenting Salam to the people in the house one receives abundance (barkah). Barakah means that necessities are fulfilled with small amount of means. Lack of barakah is the state when you have to spend hundreds for a work that is worth tens only and thousands for a task that is worth hundreds only. Beloved Prophet (PBUH) used to present Salam even to the empty house.

The State of a Majzub

The people who are in the state of being Majzub have become engrossed in a single name of Allah(SWT) to such an extent that they are not aware of the world around them. Some people praise them to unnecessary heights. This is not an objective, the real objective is to act on Shariah.

(Sitting (Majlis) on Wednesday, December 21, 2011)

To Wail or Not to Wail

Noha is an Arabic word whose meaning is to express sorrow. It is not the same as wailing and breast beating. That is what some people take it to be.

It is Conditional

Faithful have been given the glad tidings but some conditions have been imposed with this like abstinence from useless talk and implementation of Prayers.

(Sitting (Majlis) on Wednesday, December 21, 2011)

Unnecessary Uproar

There too much of controversy being created about Wasila ( giving reference in Supplications). People scream that this will lead to polytheism and all that.  This indicates that these people do not have the requisite knowledge.

(Sitting (Majlis) on Wednesday, December 21, 2011)

Friendship of Allah (SWT)

Go to the people of Allah(SWT) and ask them that you want make friendship with Allah(SWT). They will tell you what to do. What to adopt and what to leave.

Remembrance and Sunnah

Indulge in Remembrance of Allah (SWT) according to Sunnah.

(Sitting (Majlis) on Wednesday, December 21, 2011)

Closer and Closer

How to be achieve closeness to Allah(SWT)? Meet His special people - His friends. These are the pious and God fearing(muttaqi). These are the one's who are called His Friends. A person who is God fearing is also His Friend and very one of His Friends is God fearing.

Long Winding and Useless

How to be Close to Allah(SWT)?

By remembering the Prophets(AS) you become closer to Allah (SWT). Among all the Prophets(AS) beloved Prophet (PBUH) is the last one his remembrance too increases closeness to Allah(SWT). To this end recite Darood in abundance. Today our tongues are busy in useless talk. We indulge in lying and back biting. So much so that man stoops down to plain abusive words.

Audit of Days Work

In the morning as well as in the evening make an audit of your actions. Ask yourself for whom each and every task has been performed. Today all of our actions are transpired in our lust for this world.

(Sitting (Majlis) on Wednesday, December 21, 2011)

Thank You Readers

At the tea time after the Sitting (Majlis) Hazrat Qari Amir Hasan Sahab (DB) who has arrived at Anona House yesterday inquired as to who is Maripat.
Hazrat Shaikh Hakim Muhammed Kalimullah Sahab (DB) pointed out to your humble correspondent and also remarked that the elders had talked about this sinner in the Sittings (Majalis).
Since the elders have just returned from Haj it was a rather overwhelming news for yours truly. The obvious reason might have been this reporting of the the sayings of these elders and in all probability some you dear readers might have mentioned to Qari Sahab (DB). Hazrat Shaikh (DB) has been aware about this activity, in deed it was started with permission, but there was no reason to communicate it to Hazrat Qari Sahab (DB) for in deference to Hazrat Shaikh (DB) he speaks very few words. Anyway now that some one or others of you have brought it to his notice and he looks at it with love yours truly feels as if these meager attempts have been accepted by Allah(SWT). May He provide abundance in His blessings in this regard and in other things too. May Allah(SWT) grant you too a reward according to His Glory. Supplications for continued acceptance as well as ability to continue the work are requested from the core of heart.

Thirteen Rounds

This consists of 200 hundred recitations of Negation-Affirmation (Negation=Laa ilaha, Affirmation=illallah). This cleans the heart of undesirable affiliations to other than Allah(SWT). Then there are 400 Affirmations. This infuses the heart with closeness to Allah(SWT). Further fortification is done by double Personal Name (Allahu Allah) done 600 times. The round is concluded with praise using Personal Name (Allah) that is done a 100 times. This makes the total 13 rounds of Remembrance.

(Sitting (Majlis) on Wednesday, December 21, 2011)

Closeness by Proxy

A person close to Prophets(AS) is close to Allah(SWT).

(Sitting (Majlis) on Wednesday, December 21, 2011)

Mistakes by Seniors

An elder found a mistake in an article that his Shaikh gave him for reading. This disciple did not assert that there is some thing wrong in the narration. He said that Hazrat I can not figure a certain word and will you be so kind to identify it. The Shaikh realized the mistake and rephrased his statement and all got sorted out without any fuss. Thus one needs wisdom to affect correction in people.

(Sitting (Majlis) on Wednesday, December 21, 2011)

Mistake and Apology

There was this incidence of a person writing in favour of a deviant ideology. This type of events do take place. Man is fully prone to commit mistakes. When it was pointed out to him that this is not the right thing to do then he accepted his mistake and tendered an apology, repented and refreshed his old connection and returned to the old path. This is commendable. This really pleased the heart. He did not try to fuzz the situation by lame excuses. The trick is to consult a Mufti before you publish anything. The truth about a mistake is that if it is done publicly then the apology too must be public while a mistake done privately is written off with a private repentance itself.

The caution time for the Fajr Prayers (to avoid praying during sun rise) for the common folks is twenty minutes. For the educated people it is ten minutes in summer and twelve in winter.

Ease in Work

The more you supplicate from Allah(SWT) easier your task becomes. These things are inculcated in the company of the pious (People of Allah(SWT)). If you recite Surah Yaseen in the morning then you'll get ease in all the tasks till evening.

About Knowledge

Allah(SWT) himself has asked us to supplicate to Him for knowledge. Go to the people of Allah-they will tell you how to do that. Though they have small amount of knowledge but their action (upon their knowledge of Islam) is more.

(Sitting (Majlis) on Wednesday, July 6, 2011)

A Few Short Instructions

You at least make Supplications to your Lord. Show your humility. Do not show your arrogance or rebellion. Whenever a crisis confronts you then immediately turn to Allah(SWT). Our actions are of low quality, broken type. And our knowledge itself can be snatched by Him in a moment. (We must not rely upon our actions and knowledge but His Mercy.)

(Sitting (Majlis) on Wednesday, July 6, 2011)

I'll Climb the Mountain

A slave's duty is to be obedient and submissive. He should not get bent upon rebellion. Hazrat Nooh (AS) called his son but he refused and said that he'll climb the mountain. Even today mind gets dizzy at the houses made by those people. (Who were destroyed for their intransigence and rebellion.)

(Sitting (Majlis) on Wednesday, July 13, 2011)

The Return of the Deluge

(Once again excessive rain disturbed the routine of life last night.) As soon as it was known (that water is flooding the rooms in Hazrat Shaikh's house) there were some young men, they got busy in flushing it out. At the same time supplications were also started (by Hazrat Shaikh (DB)).

(One young man was younger brother of Mufti Muhammed Adil of Madarsa Shahi, Muradabad.)

Valuing Every Day

The moment it is the morning become guarded that Allah(SWT) has given an opportunity to indulge in obedience. It is a burden on the Baser Self but be agreeable to the decision of Allah(SWT).

Sources of Illness

(Qari Amir Hasan Sahab (DB))
There are only two sources of illness. Stomach and mind. Mind gets sick by watching TV. When the females of the family will watch unlawful men then it will lead to reduction in modesty.

(Sitting (Majlis) on Wednesday, July 13, 2011)

PS: A girl was over heard telling his brother that a particular hero was looking very handsome. May Allah(SWT) protect every believing man and woman from obscenity.

Redundant Physician

(Qari Amir Hasan Sahab (DB))
A king sent a physician to beloved Prophet (PBUH) to serve the Muslims. He lived for one year in Madinah but no one fell ill in that duration. He asked the reason for this. Beloved Prophet (PBUH) said that the people of this place do not sit down to eat till they are very hungry and they get before completely filling their belly. The physician said that there is no need for a physician to such people. (May Allah(SWT) be well pleased with them.)

Dragging the Masha-ikh

The Nawab, the Governor

Nawab Chhatari was the Governor of the most populous state of India. He went to meet Hazrat Wala (Muhi-us-Sunnah Shah Abrar-ul-Haq Sahab (RA)). The Siiting (Majlis) by Hazrat Wala was under progress. Nawab Sahab left the official paraphernalia behind and sat in the shoes of the attendees since there was no empty space available. Soon Hazrat Wala's sight fell on Nawab Sahab and he called him to sit beside him. This was the humility Nawab Sahab had. Today we introduce ourselves with distinctions attached like I am a Caliph of that Shaikh. This is self-praise and vanity.

(Sitting (Majlis) on Wednesday, July 13, 2011)

Mine and Yours Untruely

Hazrat Muhammed Ahmed Pratpgarhi (RA) used to say about Hazrat Wala (Muhi-us-Sunnah Shah Abrar-ul-Haq Sahab (RA)) that my disciple is his disciple and his disciple is my disciple. Today even in matters of deen there is Party system. The way there is only one father but there may be many uncles similarly in religion you have only one Shaikh but there might be many other elders who are like uncles.

Miserable Progress

In around six months of 2010AC about fourteen hundred items were reported. In twelve months of 2011AC about half that many shall be reported, IA. This will look like miserable progress which it is. But it was promised last year that those who find the pace of material appearing here a bit fast should rest assured that soon the speed will slow down. Unfortunately that is what has happened. Unfortunately because there is lots of material that has not appeared but should appear. So kindly keep supplicating.

No Discrimination Here

There was a person who came to visit. He is a good scholar but in his life his father did not employ him in his Seminary (Madarsa). Similarly  Hazrat Wala (Muhi-us-Sunnah Shah Abrar-ul-Haq Sahab (RA) did not employ his only son in his Seminary (Madarsa). Today we do not have the right religious spirit. Father establishes the Seminary (Madarsa) and the son takes over after his death.

Ninth Generation

An elder became happy with a person and asked him what should be the prayers and blessings for him. Latter person asked for knowledge in the family. The Elder prayed for this. This was related to me by (pointing to a visitor from Purkazi village in district Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh in India) his father. Travelers of Hereafter

(In reference to instruction by Hazrat Wala (Muhi-us-Sunnah Shah Abrar-ul-Haq Sahab (RA).)
Do we recite the first Kalima?
Do we indulge in Asking for Forgiveness (Astaghfaar)?
Do we recite Surah Yaseen?
Do we recite Surah Mulk?
This is an indication whether we are preparing for the hereafter or not.

Focus on Modern Education

There is so much of emphasis on modern secular education that everybody is going forward on that path only. Just imagine about its end result. After retirement this all becomes null and void. Just think this way that if you get even a very long life then it will be perhaps hundred years. (This education will not serve you beyond that.)

(Sitting (Majlis) on Tuesday, September 6, 2011)

Objective of Interaction

The only objective of Interaction (Sulook) is that good etiquette be cultivated and bad etiquette be cleaned up.

(Sitting (Majlis) on Tuesday, September 6, 2011)

PS: Everybody would like to be forgiven on the Judgment day. Moreover everybody would like to pass with flying colours on that day. Obviously that will be possible only if you are able to present some thing very good on the day. Beloved Prophet(PBUH) said that the best thing one can present that day in his (or her favour) is a good etiquette. Some unfortunate people keep raising objection to Sulook. In reality they do not know what they are missing and what injustice they are doing to themselves.
